If you’re in this VBC world - we’re all watching, waiting, and speculating on what’s next for Kaiser, Geisinger and Risant Health. Focusing first on foundation building - making sure the infrastructure is there to link patient data + provider data + financial data and give accurate estimates of value based payment potential, even giving insights to the patient - is a step 1 focus I can get behind. #valuebasedcare #kaiserpermanente #geisinger #SyntaxHealth
Earlier this week, Geisinger president and CEO, Jaewon Ryu, MD, JD shared the latest on Risant Health and what the Kaiser and Geisinger partnership means for the future of value-based care. https://lnkd.in/dUwYPz8w

Today, U.S. Representative's Jan Schakowsky, Brian Fitz, Jason Crow, and Mike Quigley introduced the ALS Better Care Act, bipartisan legislation to ensure ALS multidisciplinary clinics nationwide can offer quality care at no cost for #ALS patients. Muscular Dystrophy Association is proud to endorse the ALS Better Care Act. This bill is a positive step forward in reducing the burdens that make it harder for those living with ALS to receive the standard of care they need. If passed, this bill would: -Reduce the amount of travel for ALS patients to access quality care. -Ensure patients receive streamlined and comprehensive care both in the clinic and away from the clinical setting. -Provide more opportunities to participate in research. We thank our congressional partners, and we will continue advocating in support of the bill. Join us at MDA.org/Advocacy Read more in the press release here: https://lnkd.in/eYT37MCa
